A little bit of fanart to brighten up my gallery, as well as cheer myself up after a bad few months. Nothing says warm nostalgia happiness like Ranma for me.
Dedicated to ~pinku, for her birthday, as well as those who still remember and love Ranma 1/2 and RanmaxAkane.

Title comes from Nakajima Takui's song "Motto Soba Ni ~it's a real love~" from the album "Stardust Vox." Go listen to it. Takui is amazing.
Ranma & Akane belong to Takahashi Rumiko.
Drawn & colored in Photoshop CS3.

This is so pretty and sweet! I couldn't help but smile like Akane in this pic when I saw her face. Love how the candy-colored palette really makes the whole thing light-hearted, too. <3 *squish!*

Oh yes, I had most of the manga either in English or Japanese at one point. I still hope they'll animate the Jusendo Arc one day though - I adore the Japanese voice actors and the OAVs are quite good.
